The launch of the 4titude FrameStar® range of two-component PCR plates, in 2006, marked the beginning of the ongoing success story of 4titude. This range is now the most comprehensive of 2-component (polycarbonate frame, polypropylene wells) consumables in the life sciences market.

Another area of special expertise is plate sealing solutions. 4titude comprises the widest range of sealing films and foils on the market to meet the highest customer expectations and continues to work on innovative sealing solutions for sealing applications in the life sciences market.

The latest developments in lab automation have been embraced by 4titude, who joined the SiLA (Standardization in Lab Automation) consortium, working towards SILA compliance of instruments and consumables.

Thus, all 4titude instruments are compliant with SiLA standards for rapid integration of automated systems. This means they can be “plug and play” connected with other instruments, such as readers, robotic arms and liquid handlers, to give a custom automated system without the need to write expensive custom drivers.
