Modified Operations at Singapore Biorepository
In these unprecedented times, the local government in Singapore continues to evaluate their restrictions as part of a nationwide lockdown. We received notification today from local authorities indicating our application for exemption from workplace activities has been rejected. With that said, the Brooks Life Sciences biorepository facility in Singapore has been required to modify operations and limit business days back to two days a week. This will continue until the lifting of the lockdown, currently scheduled for 01 June 2020.
Please note that the Singapore facility will be open for sample receipt and shipments on Mondays and Thursdays only for the remaining duration of the lockdown.
The safety and protection of valuable samples remains our top priority, and we have put in place several measures to manage the risks that this suspension entails. We continue to work closely with our vendors and partners and do not foresee any interruptions in critical supplies and services at this point. The health and safety of the employees at our facility remains paramount, and we continue to implement stringent cleaning/disinfecting protocols at the site.
Thank you for your support. We apologize for the ever-changing status, but we must comply with the local government changes in restrictions. We will continue to keep you informed of any changes in the situation.
*Since 25 May 2020 (Monday) is a public holiday in Singapore, we will be open on 26 May 2020 (Tuesday) instead.
