Coronavirus [COVID-19] UPDATE
As COVID-19 continues to impact people, families, businesses, research, and routines all over the world, we want to share that, at present, Brooks Life Sciences locations around the globe are operating without disruption. However, we remain vigilant in the wake of this virus.
We prioritize the health and well-being of our employees, customers, and their families. We recognize the situation is evolving and have already taken several proactive steps to mitigate risk while maintaining business continuity, including:
• Each location has a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) that covers actions in the event of a pandemic. As we implement our BCP, we are reviewing new data from the COVID-19 outbreak to further enhance our BCP for the future.
• Our contingencies involve modifying shift patterns, physically isolating teams, working from home as feasible, setting up a hotline for site updates, conducting daily briefings, and establishing a critical operations team for smaller, crucial processes.
• In our biorepositories, liquid nitrogen and dry ice supplies are robust as we work with our suppliers to ensure no disruption in supply.
• We are working closely with our carriers to understand potential risks and their plans to ensure services are maintained.
We are also keeping abreast of updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as local and federal authorities. In the event a confirmed case of COVID-19 occurs among our employees or their families, we will share our detailed response to this with you. We will also continue to update you on operations at all Brooks sites.
If you have current business with us, please contact your Sales Representative or Project Manager for detailed information about your ongoing projects.
Thank you for your business, loyalty, and patience.
